Air Venturi Aveger loss of power

Check the O rings on the probe.
Last time I replaced the probe O rings it didn't have any positive effect.

I replaced the reg O ring near the delrin seal and it reduced creep. For routine maintenance I'd like to replace the larger O ring in the body of the reg, but I can't get the damn cap off. I don't know if this will fix other problems but I don't have confidence in the factory O rings.

Thanks for the reply. I'm working with original (non-x) regulator. I tried 3 different snap ring pliers and can't get the cap off! Dogowsky said heat from a torch will work, I tried that.

Per your replay, may be I'll try an Avenge X regulator.
Yeah bud if a little heat didn't get it to break loose you may be better off just trying an "X" reg. I've seen on a lot of other threads that people with the original avengers were switching over to the stainless "x" version due to build quality of the older brass ones...?? and due to reg creep but............I've had two poopty stainless ones straight from the factory (pyramid air really...lol) soooo....both of which are fine after changing that hard to get to O-ring...lol. My personal opinion is that Air Venturi got a hold of and used/is still using some poopty/subpar orings. After chasing my first leak at the fill nipple i had nothing but problems with small leaks (couple hundred psi in 24 hrs so not terrible but annoying) until i had basically resealed the gun with all new orings. NO ISSUES SINCE, and every oring i removed tore or "fell apart" with little effort like they were extremely deteriorated. And i ordered and had to wait on my gun so it was definitely not "old stock" that had sat on a shelf ....Good luck bud!!!
