Air Venturi Avenge x .177 suddenly shoots innacurately

Hi - sorry for my noob approach to this awesome sport. The problem is that my AvengeX is suddenly very innacurate. Sometimes it groups just fine (1,5 cm/22m) and sometimes it is all over the target plate. I havent dropped the gun or the scope. The scope is level. I use a bench rest to hold the gun. I have cleaned the barrel with a pull-cord with aerosol on. Havent oiled it after. That didnt help. The gun seems tight on all screws. The scope is a Hawke and the baffle-thing in the front fits the barrel nicely. What could be wrong? Today I shot around 80 pellets without getting it to shoot in a consistent way. Looking forward to hear from you:)

I don't believe in air gun barrels 'fouling', and more often than not they benefit from being seasoned which is how I view an airgun barrel that has many shots through it.

Just my 2c, cleaning your barrel may or may not solve your dilemma.

If there are no anomalies across a chronograph showing large spread of fps, then...

Crosmans are not known for their consistency and while you may group well with them for some time, there is no reason to believe they cannot be the possible culprit. JSB, AEA, JTS are all top quality pellets that will blow those Crosman's out of the water. Just a possibility to rule out among the many.

Ok, but why should I try the bronze brush? Doesnt it just scratch the inside of the bore?
It is a Urban falsehood that a bronze brush will harm a steel AG barrel. I'm a professional tuner and do so fairly regular tuning up & prepping customers air guns / barrels.

I patched 5 times or more. I kept doing it until the patches didnt come out with black lead-marks anymore. That should mesn that the barrel is clean right? Or am I missing something?
No it does not .... for once you have wiped away any oxidation residue ( Black ) the pure lead that is now down to smoother and shiny surface it still there adhered to the bores surface and still screwing up the uniformity of the land/groove surface.

The cleaning didnt solve the dilemma. Also H&N pellets should be ok right? I dont have access to a chronograph so I dont know if the fps is consistent.

H&N can be okay but they are harder alloy and not as safe as JSB/JTS/AEA who dominate the market currently. You can get a cheap chronograph for 20-30$ on amazon, worth it for troubleshooting and tuning.

So I should buy a bronze brush and scrape all that pure lead out of the barrel from the muzzle frontside? Sorry - again, I dont know all the correct words🤑

Cleaning ROD with brush, in one end, out the other going back-n-forth & NEVER changing a brushes direction mid bore !! This is where WD-40 has its place wetting brush & bore while you scrub-adub-dub
