Well day one with my new Air Venturi Avenge- X .22 cal. , about all I can say is Wow , super accurate and very fun to shoot, didn't get a full day because of rain, got almost a half day, took about 7 or 8 shots to get my scope dialed in, probably fired around 80 to 100 rounds today, first 5 shot group after zeroing the scope was about .07 inch at 15 yards, second 5 shot group at 15 yards was less than a dime practilly just one hole enlarged by each shot, still have the rifle on the factory settings just like I received it , averaged between 875 - 898 fps tried 3 different rounds today, JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy Diabolo 18.13 gr. , H&N Baracuda Hunter 18.21 gr. , JTS Dead Center 18.1 gr. , all 3 deadly accurate, shot about the same, on day 2 tomorrow will be going to 25 to 35 yards and further if I have time, will be trying some more different ammo also, to sum it all up I researched the Avenge- X for weeks before buying one and so far it has been as good or better than all the reviews, it's deadly accurate, and a real joy to shoot, and with the 400cc bottle seams like you can shoot forever without having to air up, see enclosed pictures of the very first 2 five shot groups, looking forward to another day tomorrow.

Yep, really enjoying myself, real relaxing, got my brother out there with me some today, he is an ex marine veteran expert marksman and he was having fun shooting bullseyes, hoping to get him more in it also.

They will be coming in a few days- having lots of rain here now, it has limited my shooting time, I will post the results when available.Just curious, would be interesting to see some 50 yd groups

Got in some 38 yard groups today, still very accurate, 5 shot group at .74", less than a quarter, average 782 fish., 28.55 gr. JSB Diabolo, very pleased with this Avenge- X , it really likes the JSB Diabolo Exact.Just curious, would be interesting to see some 50 yd groups

I'm not dissing your skill or anything but it seems ANY halfway decent/capable airgun nowadays should be able to do that. It never impresses me when I see people show groups like that at 30 yards or less with a PCP because I know they're capable of much more. Sorry, I'm really not trying to disrespect you. I just expect MORE from guns nowadays. I expect my guns to do that at 50 with no sweat if I'M on my game. If YOU'RE happy that's really all that matters.

Jesus Gerry52, you've been at this too long and are jaded. Yeah, you know, and every other long time member here knows, what these guns can do, but most people don't. Hardly any gun guys that I know have a clue about PCPs yet, and when they find out, half are amazed and the other half still don't care, they just want to make noise and bang steel. Woody1956 is impressed because what he probably remembers of bbguns in the old days and he is right to be. What possible service is performed by raining on his parade about what impresses you? You are right about him being happy is all that really matters.

I am really happy for you. Good shooting! Those pictures are like eye candy. I got mine recently as well. I have the synthetic version of this. But this ones beats it on looks hands down.

They are both super nice, your synthetic will shoot just as good as the wood stock, hope you enjoy yours, post updated pictures on yours when available so we can see how your doing- enjoy your shooting.
