Are you Air Venturi's spokesman? It surely sounds like it.
I did one repair on a person's pcp, he told the next guy and so on. Now, within 3 weeks I am buzzy with the fifth pcp to repair and all are out of warrantee. Why, because all the people I help are not mechanical minded and don't know how to do it, they don't even know how to tune a pcp. Up to now I only ask for the direct cost and not my time but every person so-far gave my something extra as a thank-you.
I appreciate this information and I think I'm capable of doing the extremely simple "repair" to resolve the problem. Thank you anyway

If I had that hindsight I would've done what you suggest. But for four months since I got the original leaking guns I've asked Air Venturi where should I check for the leak and what suggestions do they have for me to fix it and all I got was white wash, baloney and stalling. Finally thanks that somebody on Facebook, I found the leak where Air Venturi could not find the leak and now the part to get...Air Venturi finally sent it gratis today. The big problem here was not knowing where the leak was so I could know what part to check or where the leak was coming from. Next time if I have to I'll just buy another same gun and if necessary, use it for spare parts.
I'm sorry that you rethought your Avenge-X purchase as the Avenge-X , In my opinion, even with the crap that I went through with Air Venturi, is for many reasons the best PCP available. I say that because of the adjustability of almost everything, the fact that you can change configurations, like Tactical to Bullshark, to classic and to wood or synthetic and the very consistent shot-to-shot velocity. And a relatively low price. I have a Notos as well and I love it, but it's a completely different type of PCP rifle then the Avenge-X. If I had to do it over again, when the first rifle arrived with a leak I sent it back to Pyramyd and Air on their 60 day satisfaction guarantee and they sent me a replacement which also leaked. Even though the trend at most dealers is to think that it's either a figment of someone's imagination, some game the client is playing or that "Fiddling" with the gun resulted in the problem. I should've sent the second one back which arrived with the leak. I tried to be gracious to the generosity of that 60 day satisfaction guarantee, and I did that to my detriment. Pryamyd Air has never given me a hard time about using their satisfaction guarantee. Quite the contrary. So if I had to do this over again I wouldn't try to fix it myself even though that might be the most expeditious, in this case it certainly did not. And it took a great toll on my time and completely wore me down emotionally. (likely because of my service connected PTSD). So, if it's not too late go online at Pryamyd Air and buy an Avenge-X and you likely won't regret it if you follow what I suggested above. Especially since most problems will occur either immediately or within the first 60 days. And I hope because of my experience, Air Venturi changes their modus operandi and no one else will have to go through this baloney again.
When I sent Pryamyd Air the balloon video, they said that they know that it CURRENTLY has a leak!. The word choice of "CURRENTLY" indicates clearly that they don't "know" that the leak really existed when I claimed it from the beginning. Just sayin'
These are the words that put the chill on an Avenge-X for me. What does it say about a manufacturer's QC when you get 2 duds in a row? What are the odds of that happening at random? You would think that, after the first one, the seller would bend over backwards to make sure the next one they send out is a good one. Two misfires in a row? Do you keep pulling the trigger?

I like the I got the 10 for 10 thing and guys still receive a nonworking/ leaker gun .. if that don't make the seller look good nothing does ..lol .
Remember that these Avenge-X and most PCPs these days are made in China and you know what their version is on "QC". The great preponderance of Avenge-X arrive working just fine. The non-return screw on the Foster fitting is tiny and thin. Maybe a design flaw, But the Avenge-X is not knows as a troublesome PCP. I love mine and the people at Pyramyd Air are the very best in the industry. I don't think anyone else offer a 60 day satisfaction guarantee. Most say "all sales are final". Go for your own sake, give more thought to the Avenge-X and Pyramyd Air. I've been doing business with them for 5 years or so.
