Air Venturi Avenge-X leaks from day one even replacement leaks. Air Venturi refused to fix

Update: Reason for large leak discovered

Update on "large leak": The non-return air screw came loose from back of foster fitting. I've asked Air Venturi to send me new long air tube end cap with the foster fitting and screw properly attached.
Another update: Air Venturi sent me an entire air tube with fittings, gratis and by 2nd day Air. All's well that ends well.

I just bought an avenge x .25 from pyramid air and for $10 they will guarantee that the gun doesn't leak and is functioning properly. You'd think that would be a guarantee that came with the purchase. I paid the $10 because of all the stories I've heard about leaking from day one.
They all leak. Its an airgun. How bad are we talking and have you adjusted it?

Interesting thread, I am seriously considering the Avenge-X for my foray into PCP. This forum is a great resource
It took my a overva month to decide. I went with the classic Avenge-X with 480cc tank and air compressor combo. I came close to getting a high dollar gun but after reading a lot of post on this site found out the Avenge-X would do what I needed an air rifle to do for a 1st pcp. The longest shot I can shoot in my yard for linking is 63 yards. So it should be plenty.

It will be perfect.

if it's the same as an AV Avenger fill port then here are some pictures

the Fosters is not a valve type, just straight through with filter, the valve is a ball bearing on an O-ring with a spring in the cap,
note the O-ring is
7.5mm OD
2.5mm ID
2.2mm CS
I think any size close will work fine.
