Air Venturi Avenge-x trigger

I have an avenge-x bullpup. The trigger take up and pull came maxed out (lightest pull, least take up) straight from the box. It's not bad, but I would like to remove some additional take up. There are no washers to remove like on the older models. It looks like I could get a longer screw or put a spacer on the barrel. Has anyone modded their x bullpup?

I wish someone would answer quickly. I'm on the fence about getting the bullpup because of trigger.

I don't have an Avenge-x but if the trigger is like my original Avenger you can eliminate the first stage entirely if that is what you want. You can also decrease sear engagement more by putting in a longer screw. I wouldn't call the trigger in mine "match grade" but it is pretty light and is a crisp one stage trigger (which I prefer). I got a longer sear adjustment screw at Home Depot and then just turned the adjustment screws until I had a setting I like.

If you mess with the sear adjustment, however, be careful. You can make the gun "slam fire". Go off without a trigger pull when it's bumped.

I wondering about the X trigger also as mine came through with apparent minimal sensitivity settings. I can’t turn the hex screws to lighten it any more. Does anyone know if they maybe put loctite on the screws? The manual goes into specific detail about how to adjust for lightness. Having said this, the trigger is already good, but we always want better if possible. 🤔

Mine also seems like it's been loctite since I can't turn it. Be careful and not force it or you will bent the linkage unless you use heat. Good luck.
