Air Venturi Avenge x. Upgrades

Hey all,

So I’m new to PCP air guns - I had a few other co2 and springers, but this is a first. I went with the Avenge - X full synthetic. Looks like you can swap out to the tactical stock. I guess Im getting at which one?? There is a tactical stock chassis, a saber stock, ect.

I have the 210 tube not bottle - can someone send a link? If that’s allowed - first time posting

Thanks!

Mine has gone throughj a few changes since i bought it,
Started out as a tube version .177 tactical
Went to a .25 and it shot fantastic, So naturally I changed it to a .22 and that is the most accurate for what I do..

Once I got that all out of the way I went with the Saber Tactical Chassis, I can Not tell you how Nice it is, Worth EVERY penny.
I also swapped out the grip to a Tyrant Designs
Changed out the buttstock to an adjustable Magpul
I also swapped out the tube for the bottle, removed the barrel band and added the magnetic end cap setup

Thanks - that’s great to know - I just went with the base model synthetic and was kinda regretting it. I did know about caliber change went .25, will probably get .22 in time

Do all these upgrades on avenger work on avenge - x?
Mine is an Avenge-X
It started out just like your tactical (base model with tube) and is now what you see in my post

I have had my Avenge-X for about a month, my first airgun of this quality, and I love this gun. The grip is "loose" and wiggles back and forth slightly. Where did you get your custom grip? And does anyone have a video or two that talks about tightening or replacing the grip? Thanks

You can go with the Tyrant Designs grip I showed in those pics or you can with the Hogue grip

I currently have the Hogue on mine now, I have Large hands and the Hogue fits my hand better

Thanks for the info. I did find a video on swapping the chassis and that showed me the grip as well. I purchased my Avenge-X as a tactical model so I figured out how to tighten the grip and it's solid now. Appreciate the links too, I found out that in order to use a standard AR grip on the Avenge-X you need to go with the Saber chassis (or some other aftermarket AR compatible chassis) as the stock tactical chassis from Air Venturi is not 100% compatible with the AR grips.

You are most welcome

Also a VERY good point about the stock avenge-x chassis compatibility issue, Air Venturi really should have that in the instructions...

The stock grip will not work on the Saber Chassis so it's a vice-versa thing.. not real smart on Air Venturi's part
I guess we can add that to the list of stupidity along with the odd ball gauge thread size and the garbage gauges..

What is the issue with the AR grip compatibility? Is it the shape of the chassis not lining up well with the grip when you install it? I designed a new grip for mine and I know I had to adjust the back to get it to line up right but the angle and mounting screw were compatible if I remember correctly.
