Just finished the install on my Avenge-X .22 conversion to a bottle. I degassed the rifle before removing the tube, then went through the fairly simple installation of my new bottle. Now I can't get the rifle to take a charge. The degas screw is tightened, the compressor works with other rifles. When I put the new bottle on it I tightened it by hand. Tried charging it with the rifle cocked and on safe, also tried with the rifle action open and closed. I had a Beeman that needed to be charged with the rifle cocked, so I assumed the Avenge-X needs to be cocked also. I'm stumped and Pyramid tech support has gone home for the day.

maybe that bottle has the wrong valve and failed to open for filling? is it possible to fit that bottle onto other PCP you have and see if you can fill it through different guns?

My fix for filling my Epic airguns Two, that have at times given me grief after a degas is to chamber a 20 grain slug ( .177 caliber in my case )
then decock the hammer it so no chance of a accidental fire.
To stop air rushing thru valve and out of the barrel.
No problems since then.

If the line from the compressor isn't pressurizing you have an open circuit so to say. Tighten the gauges, bottle oring? Did you forget a part on the install?

Spooky, there's not a lot of parts to it. What I noticed on their site was they offer a fiber bottle just like the one I have to use as a reservoir. I removed the bottle I just installed and put it on my compressor. It's building pressure right now. The bottle is rated at 4000 psi, I'm going to charge it up to 2000, then put it back in the rifle. Wish me luck.

I doubt this is it but, on my notos drop block it didn't have the pin to depress the valve of the normal style bottle valve. I had to get a pinless adjustable regged valve. Good luck

I'm pretty sure if you messed with your gun to install the bottle it void all warranty. If you gonna call the dealer up, probably not a good idea to let them know you messed with the gun to install the bottle. As far as I know it void rhe warranty. If your gun won't fill and your cock your gun something you did incorrectly. Check and make sure everything is seal tight. I'm pretty sure it's leaking somewhere that's why it won't fill.

Edit: it's always something minute an oring too big for a manometer, oring nicked while threading, oring rotten and gave way, gauge or fill nipple loose, forgot delrin gasket, forgot valve spring, inserted something backwards, something lines up wrong, it will be something small. Or the tank valve oring
