After getting a 28" TJ barrel made for my avenger I wanted to build out the barrel to the original 25mm diameter. So I settled on progressively wrapping the barrel in carbon fiber tubes. I used golf club shafting epoxy between each layer I also used two, thick chrome washers on either end so I could slightly tension the barrel when threading on my moderator. Aside from the looks I can reuse my barrel band and hopefully make the barrel much more stiff. Perhaps accuracy will even improve... Who knows.
