Avenger

I got my order in with PA on July 5th somehow I didn't make the cut and have to wait till the next shipment. OK it happens. I got mine in the 22 I don't have a chrono so maybe someday. This is my first PCP I was wondering if for those of you that have got your, what pellets do find shoot the best? I'll mostly be hitting smaller prey at say 50 yards in. I have a TX200 in a 22 and know this is very doable. Buddy gave me a Yong Heng or whatever compressor so shot counts not big deal. I just want to get pellets ordered now too because it seems like they're getting harder to get. Wally world has been out forever around here. I shoot the Crosman 14.3 premiers out of the TX figure I'll do little heavier out of the Avenger. They were the talk of this forum for a while. Now it seems the honeymoons over. lol

A chronograph is a very basic necessity to check on the well being of your airguns and pistols as well as for tuning. How can you accurately set the power? How do you know when the gun goes off the reg and miss your shot?

So far most accurate pellet is the JSB 18.13 grain.

I woudn't even bother shooting the Crosman pemiers.

Head variation runs from .214 to .221 plus and even when i sorted them i was still getting fliers out of every gun i tried them in.I don't think it's physically possible for them to shoot accurately even though people say they do.Well it depends what your idea of accuracy is i suppose.

For shooting cans they are ok though.
