I checked the first three pages and the average was 53.3 years of age, from the mid 70's to 35ish.

I am 51. I am an old guy in my favorite sport and average in this one. I think this hobby leans towards expendable income. When most hit their 50’s, the kids are gone and it’s time to spend money on yourself.

27 still love my powder burners and very active in 3 gun challenge but I just love my Wildcat mkII in .22 and now contemplating of getting the bling bling and go for a RAW LRT in.22cal

43 here. I enjoy the air rifles because I can shoot at my house. I was considering building up a precision long range powder burner recently but bought a taipan veteran instead. Glad I did because it will get more use. I have a range just down the road, maybe 7 miles but living in northern LA county it gets full on the weekends pretty quick with knuckle heads. Funny to see some of these clowns shooting like gang members off tv. Just reminded myself why I haven't been in a while. LMAO

Same here, about the remembering if I already replied.

I'm 66 and got my first air gun at age 9 in 1962 (a Daisy model 25 BB rifle).

Started shooting a .22 rifle at the local gun club when I was 8, with no parental approval even required.

I'm 63 ,feel like 25 ,got my first bb gun on my 7th birthday ,I'm sure the bird population wished I hadn't. My last hobby racing r/c in the dirt has left me behind with modern brushless motors and lithium batteries, the stock class is gone and I'm left in the dust. Target shooting and keeping the ground hogs from digging under the polebarn and wood burner gives me purpose.
