66 here. Dad started me out with a Daisy BB gun at about 7. As the years went on I graduated thru pellet guns,.22rf, shotguns, a 30-06 but always had air guns around. Later on I found Robert Law's catalogs and those from Dr. Beeman and that when the hobby really took off for me!

52 here. Been shooting airguns for about 6 years now. Almost two years with a springer, then got infected with the PCP bug.

Been shooting and reloading PB rifles And hand guns for ever.Im 70 know and got into PCPs about 3 years ago .Spent more on my wild cat then on any other gun I own.But when you love a sport it’s only money and I love pesting .and I thought fishing was xspenive

Yep, will be 70 in July. Played around with PBs for decades, reloading, casting, shooting NRA competitions and then got into truck driving at about 34 because I loved trucks and the money was pretty darn good … but there wasn't enough hours in the day to drive and shoot let alone reload so I hung them up for about 30 years. Retired at 65 and am having the time of my life with airguns which I started as soon as I retired. The good Lord has been good to me in so many ways blessing me beyond all measure. Looks like we do have quite a few "old timers" represented in this forum which is just one of many reasons why it goes so well on AGN. Thanks to Michael for such a good venue for all of us.

Turned 59 earlier this month, been a fan of shooting since my first taste when I was a Scout so... a half century or so? Inherited a .22 lr that belonged to an uncle who shot for his college team - he never came back from WWII so it ended up with me. Kept that gun for years but only used it for sporadic target shooting. No longer have it, or any PB for that matter. Began the airgun obsession in the early 2000's with a simple 1377 and later a Benjamin Trail pistol. Those led to Hatsan springers and other experiments in pneumology. Have settled into low power airgunning since I am limited in space and moolah. Currently in the job market again, not planning on retirement anywhere this side of 70, but when I do land that next job then My Treasure says I can buy a new gun. Workin' that resume like it's a borrowed mule!

I'm 51, I got my first Springer when I was 15, beeman webly vulcan 2. I loved it!! Then I got an r10 and later an r1. Got back into it a few years ago with a fx cyclone , daystate saxon and fx wildcat lol

Just turned 50 in Dec. I had the obligatory pump bb gun as a kid, but that was the extent of it. From my late teens on I was mostly into fishing, free-diving, and Spearfishing. Didn’t really get into Adult Airguns until about 2 to 3 years or so ago.

70 and 1/3 years started at 10 soon as I could sneak a daisy to the basement. My dad was a tanker in WWII, didn't want ANY guns around the house

76 here. Loved powder burners until someone said , "here try the airgun". My reply was "I don't shoot no BB guns". A couple of years passed and he asked again if i wanted to shoot and this time i said " what the hell, why not". Now I hardly ever shoot the powder burners, its "BB" guns for me. Much more fun and tricky and that is why 401K's were created.

^& ;^) really don't know how I managed to get so old I didn't plan on this happening but I can't complain it's been a trip for sure airguns forever.
