Aztec Emerald 5.5-25x50 IR FFP MOA mini review

I own two of these - bought specifically for Field Target Discipline

These are great scopes for airguns, especially the illuminated reticle with a green and red option

but

mount your - center of scope to center of barrel - absolutely AS LOW AS POSSIBLE, or your holdovers will be nuts because the reticle marks are marked in dashes only till you get to 10 and then dashes again till you get to 20.

Very Easy to misplace your holdover.

Do not Expect this scope's small aprx 3" parallax wheel to spread out the distance numbers from 35-55 yards very well, aka help you determine range well - you will need to purchase at least a 5"wheel, or better yet buy a large Eccentric wheel from Joe Garland or Eric at Scope Werks.

Also, be aware that for distances beyond 75 yards this isn't the scope for you.

If for any reason you do need your center of scope mounted higher than 3" above center of barrel, you better memorize your reticle to avoid easily misplaced holdover shots.
