Haven't even aired her up yet but I've read that the Umarex Hammer is pretty darn loud. Any moderators out there do much for this gun? I've gotten away with the occasional dispatch with a .22 rimfire so not looking for quiet, just reasonable.
Backyard friendly Hammer

I’m not sure what kind of backyard you have, but I can’t imagine the Hammer as a backyard gun. Trying to “get away” with it seems dubious at best.

There is a recent post on this exact subject. The hammer is not quite with air blasting out of magazine in short.

I took a couple shots in the yard yesterday. Nobody came running.

Nothing "Back yard friendly" about it. That puppy is friggin loud. Probably about as loud as my .457 Texan which is by NO means back yard friendly. Luckily I live out in the sticks and can make as much pew-pew noise as I want LOL.

I've been putting a shot or two thru it about once a week to condition my neighbors. No negative actions or t reactions yet.
