BAGA Field Target Match Schedule for August 2015. Bristol, Wisconsin.
BAGA is going to have 2 Field Target matches in August this year. The first match is going to be Saturday August 15th. This is going to be the typical BAGA style match. Last match was 52 shots(37.8 troyer), but we are considering adding a 3rd target to each lane prior to this match to change the course up a little bit and add more shots. We will have the range open around 9:30am. Lunch will be served directly after the match before awards are handed out.
The 2nd match is going to be an AAFTA rules match on Saturday August 29th. This is going to be a match that we set up the course to about 30-35 troyer to encourage more new shooters to come out and see what the Field Target game is all about without worrying about how hard the course is. The typical BAGA match in 2015 has been between 37-43 troyer so people that have been to a match this year will understand the AAFTA match is going to be a little easier than a normal BAGA match. We will be turning in all results from this match to AAFTA as our annual qualified match.
BAGA typically provides awards for the following classes. We will provide awards for any class that 3 or more participants compete in.

The BAGA Monster Match is a match consisting of more than 100 shots in a single day. Last year’s Monster Match was 112 shots and it was a great turn out. Chef Ron’s Match Saturday, October 17, 2015 This is going to be a VERY tough match. Ron keeps telling us he is going to set up another “sadistic” match for us since some people(Phil) want to see us up the difficulty factor. I guess 40 Troyer is just too easy for some people these days!!! The very first match of 2014 Ron presented us with a match that was a 63 Troyer overall(not a single target, the whole match!).This is more of a fun match and we will have targets out to maybe 70-100 yards(not confirmed yet). Ron is rumored to be cooking up some tricks to throw the shooters for a loop and bring a whole lot of fun and laughs along with him. This will be a ton of fun and everyone will be hanging out after the match eating and laughing about “that dang shot I missed”. I guarantee that!
