Bait for Racoons?

Tannerite for skunks. Bait them to a nice bucket full of the stuff and shoot it. Vaporize them AND their spray gland. Coyotes will clean up the mess!

Tannerite! Wouldn't a bazooka be less conspicuous?

Get some duke dog proof traps, set and bait and then dispatch… they work great

Be careful with those dog proofs they also can catch skunks and then you have a problem to deal with.

what problem? I have shot many skunks with air rifles and it’s all about shot placement, a good heart shot and they usually never spray, I even shot a few with headshots and they never sprayed either so maybe I’m just lucky idk

My results aren't a good, even with lungs shots they spray at least a little 50% of the time. I find it hard given all the fluffy fur to figure out where the heart is.

The last skunk I shot I used a .410 and hit him broadside in the head at 30 feet, died instantly and no sent, good thing to, the skunk weighed about 15 pounds, the sent gland would have held a quart.
