Baker scope mount.

I'm sure it's been posted, but the Baker Airguns one piece scope mount for the 397PA is great. Really well thought out mount. Made very well and works ecactly as it's stated. Doesn't add much height to the scope. MUCH better than the "barrel pincher" type 2 piece. I used an IJK ( I know...it's a cheapo) 3-9 X 32 illuminated PSO style reticle scope. I already had this scope on hand. I got it on an AR that I traded for a few years sgo. Pulled it and put a more traditional scope on for a precision build. I liked this scope on this rifle because the mount is integral and works on Picatinny or Weaver rails . I had to make a minor tweak to the bolt handle for clearance, but I think this is gonna' work fine. Now it's time to see what pellet she likes best.

Back in the day I spoke on the phone for like an hour with they guy who designed them-he sort of fell off the map but Baker still carries the mounts. I used one on my "trash can" Sheridan which had a broken front sight-I cut off a piece to mount a globe front sight and put a Williams peep on the rear mount. Mine didn't seem to work for me with a scope.

I sort of plan to fix the front sight and mount one of the low-profile peeps one of these days.....
