Ballistics Book

Anybody have recommendations on a good ballistics book that contains applicable physics formulas? I am fluent up through multi-variable calculus and basic college physics. I know there is software available, but I'm more interested in learning the basics and applying them to what I want to know.

I will freely admit I have not looked at the software. I don't really want to install it on my phone or run a virtual android or Windows OS. However, if you have used a particular software, and it gives you the actual math formulas it utilizes within the program I am certainly willing to learn the math equations that way as well.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations on books, websites, etc. that will let me continue to determine what my first rifle will be.

Most people here use Chairgun Pro, from Hawke Optics. Others use Strelok. I use Chairgun due to already available database of pellets with proven BC's. Pretty simple, and reasonably close to reality. For Android, not sure if it's available for IOS. Give it a look.
