I have a question. I have a brand new BAM50 PCP rifle. I was told it was a replica of another gun. Is this true???

It is often reported to be a copy of the Daystate Huntsman. I have 1 in .177 and it is quite capable. I have owned for going on 10 years and have never had an issue with it. Tons of tuning info out there for it including whats called "The Book" if you google that it should come up for you.

I have had a handful of BAM50 over the years and also have a few Daystate Huntsman. The BAM can be a great rifle. Super easy to work on.
The big issue with them is out of the box they have WAY too much hammer spring. Left alone it will destroy the exhaust valve. Clipping the spring some will bring down the power ti a reasonable level and added bonus of a lower fill pressure.
The ones I had I polished everything up, trigger, crown, lead etc. I used a ban for a few years as my first pcp field target rifle.

When they were around to purchase ... had done several extensive tune / regulation conversion / light hammer type work. These mods dropped the noise substantially, Raised the shot count equally and made for a VERY nice shooting rifle.
Out FT club the SVFTC still has one as our club loaner and it shoots fantastic !!!
