I purchased a used Bandit from someone on Reddit and he was shooting steel BBs out of it and destroyed the moderator and threads on the barrel rendering both useless. Does anyone know or possibly have a replacement barrel/moderator for one? From what I understand it will also take a Chaser barrel? Could anyone provide information or advice on what I could possibly do to salvage it or should I just throw it in the garbage? I reached out to Diana over a week ago and haven’t heard anything. Thank you.

Ummm, I think I’d probably want to get the same as stock if possible. 9.5” or even a shorter barrel would be fine as long as it is longer than the air tube with the moderator. I’m guessing anywhere from 6” to 9.5” with moderator. I’ve looked around but haven’t had much luck.

Well it looks like they have the moderator but no barrels. Maybe I’ll contact Wes, I’ve heard great things about him and airgunarchery.

I believe the stormrider barrel will fit that breech. Could get one and cut/crown to whatever length you want. I know Wes offers some shorter barrels for the SR, with or without threads. I don't know if he does the machine work and can do it in house.
That being said, you'll probably be out more than you paid for the gun if you go that route. Too bad "Diana" support is non existent for that gun since it's actually a snowpeak/artemis pp800 copy.
I wonder if a notos barrel would fit? I'm sure there are plenty of those rolling around on @Firewalker 's work bench.

I appreciate that. I my looks like I can get a moderator from airgunarcheryfun but I’ll have to find a barrel first, but I appreciate the offer and help. I will let you know if I can find one and then go from there.

I was digging it out for you. I need to evaluate it and look up the Work Order before I can confirm its a good fit.
It would have been a Bandit carbine barrel.
