Brocock/BRK Bantam Slingshot too loud.

@Dm800 That does not sound all that noisy to me. It sounds like an airgun. Is there an air rifle that you can compare that sound too that would make it easier for us to see that the Brocock in your video is noisy?

It's a sub 12ft lb gun. Compared to my AA s510 which sounds like a mouse farting, the brocock sounds like hammer and anvil.

@Dm800 In that context I think I can see your point. In the video it sounds like an FAC Bantam Sniper and that's what I was basing my previous statement on. I don't know how a sub 12ft/lb Bantam Sniper is supposed to sound.

That's the root I'm going to try. I'm struggling finding the correct specification for brocock hammer spring. Guess it's going to be trial and error wit a big box of compression springs.

@Dm800 Considering that it sounds like an FAC Bantam, do you know if it was originally an FAC rifle? If so, I suggest emailing Brocock/BRK and asking what parts you can buy to convert it back to sub 12ft/lbs. I have dealt with them via email in regards to my Bantam Sniper within the last couple of years and it was a slow process. Hopefully you have an easier time communicating with them assuming that you are in closer proximity to their headquarters than I. Being in similar time zones helps so that you can speak to someone on the phone. Have you reached out to them?

Always been sub 12. I've owned from new. But I appreciate your help. I have been in contact and the answer was a service will be required. Not at 200 odd dollars it won't....
