H&N has developed a new Baracuda .177 pellet in 8.44gr. Has anyone gotten their hands on some yet? I'm curious to know how they compare to the tried-and-true JSB 8.44gr and H&N FT 8.6gr...

I was hoping one of our European colleagues may have earlier access than we do. Nothing showing yet on the majors like PA, AoA, etc.Have yet to even see a US retailer even listing them on their website and saying "Coming soon". Got an itch to try some myself in the couple .177 rifles I still have but I'm like that whenever I see a new pellet come to market.
Thanks for the link and the card for the Brazilian pellets. Guess I’ll be adding some of the Brazilian pellets to my next order.I have some of the Rifle Premium 8.33gr pellets. Shot quite well from my Beeman R7. I'll have to take a look at the Olympiashot.
Here's one thread from a UK forum although it looks like more than a few of the shooters are using them in sub 12 pcp's:

I have just received a couple of tins of these but can not test until Friday, My question is has anybody tried them in either PcP or Spring gun and got pictures of their groups (up to 55 yards) . would be good to compareairgunforums.co.uk

Our importers ordered the Baracuda 8 as quickly as possible. Unfortunately it always takes some time before new pellets are commercially available in the USA. The transport time alone is approx. 2 months from door to door.Have yet to even see a US retailer even listing them on their website and saying "Coming soon". That I understand, but us European guys still can't find them available. Our importers ordered the Baracuda 8 as quickly as possible. Unfortunately it always takes some time before new pellets are commercially available in the USA. The transport time alone is approx. 2 months from door to door.

Well, it's not that simple. Importers are independent companies. They have to decide for themselves whether (and when) they want to order new products from us - or not. We can try to persuade them, but we cannot force them. Unfortunately, pellets are economically rather uninteresting products compared to air guns or optics. That I understand, but us European guys still can't find them available.
Yes, the UK guys have them, looking good. Not so good for us European testers. Non available.
This year, the European FT is in Bulgaria, hopefully my Brit brothers will bring me a few to test.
At every European open I've always had a selection of pellets for testing. Not so with the barracuda 8. More elusive than a air arms XTI50.
Intentional?
Yes, H&N have always been good sponsors but a pellet directly aimed at FT shooter's. Pun intended. Not available European wide.
As a Bulgarian ft shooter who this year will be a marshal on the European FT championship I'm disappointed.
Rant over, look after your larger audience.
Lol.. make be that "8" means 8 of 10 shots may hit somthing?Krale has them listed but temporarily out of stock. I signed up for a notification, color me interested ever since JSB quality went to hell. Competition is good!
