No guru here…The Pathfinder is but a mini Commander, if you take a closer look you will see its undeniable. Same form factor in a smaller package. Similar to the Atomic/Rangers being but smaller Concept XRs. That said, I really love my Pathfinder for what you are describing above and its how I use mine… Just don’t plop a huge scope on it…
This is out the box… no tuning on my part…I was looking a little closer at Pathfinders, I assumed it was just a Ranger with a HP bottle, adjustable reg. and a barrel shroud. But it seems it actually has a 10" barrel, while the Ranger/Atomic have a 12" barrel. Interesting they chose to go shorter. I am guessing the shroud is 12" with an air stripper inside, so it helps with noise reduction. Looks very cool, I wonder how much juice it could get behind an 18 grain pellet if the reg. and hammer spring were turned up for putting squirrels in the crock pot.
So many tools/toys... I have been trying to find info about what is different between the Sahara and the regular Sniper XR, other than paint. I have found quotes that there are performance differences, but nothing specific.

The adjustable reg for dialing down the power during bird nesting season and then back up for squirrel season does make the Pathfinder look just about right... I see how it is, you aren't the BRK guru, you moonlight as a BRK salesman. This is out the box… no tuning on my part…

Plenty of energy for squirrels out to 50+ yards and you can bump up the power if you wish to…
The guns sell themselves, I am but one voice, that said, check out my Atomic XR. Kneeling at 54 yards, just for fun of course, UTG Red dot atop sending CPHPs…The adjustable reg for dialing down the power during bird nesting season and then back up for squirrel season does make the Pathfinder look just about right... My folding stock adaptor on the Ranger allows the stock to twists a millimeter or two: just a slight rotation. Does yours also do this?
