Other Barra 1866 not holding air

NEWB here. Great looking website.
I picked up a Barra Cowboy 1866. It doesn't hold air. During each pump I can hear the hiss of leaking air near the "bolt".
I have the "bolt" as far back as it will go and the safety on.
Any advice what might be the problem before I start taking this thing apart to investigate?

the bad news it might be worth fixing if you cannot do the repair
i would guess the valve is being held open by a piece of crud or a damaged seal component
i would guess you could source parts at Barra but i have never had a reason to
but no parts diagram found and i have never worked on one
now if it has not had the cylinder lubed for a long time some oil could bring it back to life
but there are many unknown
but at 75 bucks from the manufacture, they would be not worth sending anywhere to fix

Barra has an FAQ section for the 1866. No schematic, but they do mention a common hardware store o-ring seal that sometimes has to be replaced. They also have a service E-mail.

I did see that. Thanks. I do wish there was a schematic.
I guess I'll have to be the Guinea pig and just dig into it and see what I can see.

When I have to do a repair on a gun that I've never worked on before and there's no schematic, I take a bunch of photos as I'm doing the disassembly to use as a reference for re-assembly. Not as good as a schematic, but better than nothing.
