I concur.

I emailed Donny FL about wanting a.moderator that matched the air tube on the 250z and they said it is 1.6" in diameter and recommended the Sumo.which is 1.6" x 6" and costs $150. The bigger the moderator the quieter, but I didn't want a large can on the end of my long barrel. Previosly, I purchased .a.Donny FL Tanto for an Urban 22 and was happy with it. Both the 250z in 25 cal and Sumo have been ordered and I am eargerly awaiting delivery.

Well, my advice would be to try several. My go to suppressor for when I want to shoot quietly is my Ronin .30. I have never had clipping issues with it, or had it effect group size until I used it on my .22 250z. It didn't clip, but it did make my groups go wild. I took it off, shot again, normal group. I put on a .30 Tanto, normal group. I ended up just going back to my STO Levitas, which was the loudest but it is so light at 2 ounces that the slightly louder noise than the Tanto still makes it worth using.

In your case you had several moderators to try. Many people don't.have that luxury.

That's true, but you can get one moderator and try it and if it effects your groups negatively that doesn't mean that every moderator will either, some will help. The whole benefit and fun of airgunning to me is that it is quiet. PCPs are a luxury item to begin with, so if you have one, the extra moderator isn't much of a stretch and could ultimately prove useful.

looks like I’m gonna have to purchase a moderator next on my list any suggestions to quiet down this .25 barra 250z
Reximex Silent Force moderator
With shipping and whatnot, less than $40
1" aluminum tube.
Tested it against DFL Sumo and STO Falx and it was quieter on 3 .22 and 1 .25
