I'm looking for a machinist who has experience machining LW barrel blanks to fit FX rifles, Dreamline in particular. Please give me recommendations.

Dont know until you call but Martin down in Minor Hill does have some experience with FX rigs. If he can hep you he certainly does nice work.

I did speak to Martin about this, but his workload is so high that he doesn't want to take this on at the moment.

Seems to be the way it is these days, all the known true precision people with airgun specific knowledge are all loaded with work. Makes it a bit tough, I thought of getting an Air Force barrel -Simple eh?- cut 1" and crowned, we have 4 well respected local custom gunsmith's, None have seen an airgun but with the AF it shouldn't matter and it didn't matter because I really didn't want the 6 month wait time.
So many FX rigs around, and so many people wanting to try different things with airguns these day's I am personally surprised that there are not at least a few more people doing airsmith work.

If you don't mind sending both a blank and an FX barrel I know an excellent machinist that can duplicate it. Paladin Machine Service in Kershaw SC. He is retired and does machine work now to supplement his retirement income. Won't find anyone cheaper or better. Fairly well known in the PB world, especially the AR crowd. He did much of the machine work on barrels developing the various socom calibers for Teppo jitso(sp), tony rumore, and others. I've had him duplicate a couple barrels for me, and make several suppressor mounts way cheaper than factory mount for my Griffin Armament suppressor. He just took the one I had and duplicated it with whatever thread I wanted. If you want his contact info let me know.

I got into Airgunning late 2016. Of course this industry has CHANGED rapidly and uniquely. Hindsight, I would have got some training. Being a machinist on small parts would be a great start. No reason barrels couldn't be serviced, oh well, too old noe. I'll just be a plucked chicken buyer!
