View attachment 365495 I have done it with a Gamo p-25 years ago (Internally, the same has the p-85) thanks to the power of 3d printing.
I replace the plastic barrel cover with a custom one with treaded end, and made a barrel extension using a barrel from another broken Co2 pistol + a silencer at the end, respecting the overall length of the gun.
The results are better than expected, the fps skyrocketed to 650, around 6 joule, and the precision at long distances improved. I have literally 0 problems.
About using diferent barrels (the ones I used are basically the same) they may not have the same exact diamether, maybe the pellet has been sligtly deformed to fit the first one, and then entering the other with different diameter, starts rackling and become unstable, about a smooth one first, when the pellet reaches the rifled one, it will have already velocity so it may not catch the grooves as eficiently, it may just be damaged by them. The better would be to connect near identical rifled barrels. Gamo sells crappy pistol barrels at the price of peanuts.
Rifled, 8 inch pistol barrel (tacticool versions of the gun, the silencer is fake and just to cover the larger barrel, it would be SO MUCH BETTER if they turn it to a detachable extension as I did... but they are cheap and lazy)

Some barrel models are NOT rifled, you must check if the gun is a pellet or a bb one, the pt-80 is rifled.
