Been shooting my Vulcan now for a few days. Wondering if any of you guys cleaned your Vulcan barrel when it just arrived. I usually don't clean my barrel till I see accuracy drop off. In fact neither of my earlier guns like the cricket bobcat or hatsan needed their barrels cleaned. Today I was looking down my Vucan barrel and I saw this.
These small marks are only on the tip or maybe less than half an inch into the barrell. The rest of it is smooth all the way down.
Now don't get me wrong, the gun shoots a 3 inch target at 160 yards 8 out of 9 times. And shoots these same targets from 60 to 160 yards even when they are placed at 10 yard Intervals. Am just wondering if by cleaning the barrel I can tighten my groups a bit more. Currently I get about an inch groups at 80 yards. I know the gun can do better. The regulator is now broken in. Have put about 900 shots through it.
Do you think cleaning this barrel will help or I should just leave it be.?
