Removed 7 beaver for this cattle farm , they built up a 4' dam and flooded a bottom land. All removed at 48-52 yds with FX .30 dream pup. Largest weighed 60 lbs. My boot is size 13.

What ft/lbs energy? I have shot them with head/skull in .22cal at 30 ft/lbs and did not kill.

I'd love to do the same here, but in MA you would get a longer prison sentence than an axe murderer.

Way to go! That one is pretty big!! Beavers can be super destructive so good for you taking those guys out.

My .30 cal Dream Pup has 72 ft/lbs at muzzle and 52 at 50yds. The 7 beaver were mostly 45-52 yds from me so approx. 48 to 50 ft/lbs on this set up I had for them. As for removal in NC I only need landowners permission to remove. This was my fourth call out on beaver problems and I am a lot better hunting these buck tooth vermin than when I started.

A lot of benefits from beaver dams and they are being introduced in many areas to control streams and reduce the impact of drought on fish and plant life. Want to improve grasslands kill a cow.

@monkyshine nice work and I know Idaho Fish and Game does remove beavers now and then if they are causing destruction on private land.

Yes in NC if landowner reports damage all I need is permission from him. In this area the large Dam was flooding a low valley and a neighbors property both are cattle farms that was losing their grazing land to water. It is illegal here to live trap and relocate the animals.
