I must have too much time on my hands. What would it take to convert a Beeman 1358 underlever to a bottle? Or any PCP for that matter. Is it simply a matter of adding a drop block that fits the tube and attaching a bottle, with or without a regulator? Am I oversimplifying? I'm new to PCP's so please humor me.

Unless you know a machinist willing to fabricate one from scratch, you'll need to source a drop block made to fit a tube with the same id as your 1358's airtube.
That's your starting point. And you'll need to decide if you to go with paintball threads or metric threads on the drop block, usually determined by the size/capacity bottle you want to go with.
Oh yeah, you'll also need to determine if your tube needs to be shortened, but only after considering where the end of the bottle will be in relation to the end of your barrel/shroud.
A few things to consider for sure.

Shortening the tube and adding a bottle is going to kinda mess with the under lever I would think.

Ok. I think I'm starting to understand. IF I found a tank block that fit I'd be GTG. The current tube would just be the plenum... correct?
CO2 guns seem easier to convert. There's just an adapter. Forgive my ramblings I'm kind of thinking out loud.
