Beeman 2027 won’t cock?

All of a sudden my Beeman 2027 pistol no
Longer will cock! Worked fine for many shots. I took it out of the stock and tried to remove the trigger assembly and couldn’t. Any idea why it no longer cocks? Charles

The way they load opens the whole chamber below and behind the probe a pellet can fall backwards out of the mag and get stuck in the cocking mech. You will need to degas and get into hammer area to find the crushed pellet

Hate to be a problem but how do I get into the hammer area? Thanks in advance. Charles

Some how I took it all apart at least removed all screws and before starting I degassed it. Never seen any pellet parts, however I may had it one out while fooling with. The good part it seems to cock now just fine. Never did I got the trigger assembly out? Tomorrow I’ll see just how successful I was. Charles

back the trigger adjustment screw off one full turn and test if the sear holds the hammer, then you were too greedy

Now it's working great over 90 shots on a fill. Charles
