Hi Guys!! Man it's been cold! So warm up with a good laugh on me!

I picked up a little Beeman 78A target CO2 cheap. Really accurate at 10 m!

But it came with this giant T-handled handcuff key thing?

What it am is for???

Key is for degassing to release any residual co2 pressure. With gun discharged/uncocked, insert key and rotate 180°. This pushes hammer against valve, opening valve enough to release gas.

Thank You Mr Richley!!!! Especially for the manual!!!! The one in the box is only good for parts numbers and fire starters!
Since it sounds you are up on these. Might I ask you another question.
The rear sight. Does the rear of the frame of the sight rest on the rail? Or slide the sight back and allow it to drop behind the rail.
That was most likley clear as mud! Lol!

I have a 2078B, same as 2078A except side lever instead of bolt. Not sure of your ask. Here is a picture showing sight placement on rail. Sight can move forward or back to suit your head placement on stock.

Interesting. That sight seems structurally longer. And it now mounts with 2 "claws" up front.
