Beeman Beeman Kodiak .22

Hello all, I have this Beeman Kodiak that I bought somewhere between 2004 and 2005. It's been fired maybe a couple hundred times at most. It's pretty much new. I've moved at least 10 times during that time and it always comes with me, but I'm never going to use it.

So I would like to sell it, but I have no idea what it is worth. I know there is a Classified section on the forum, but I thought I'd reach out to ask if anyone has any idea of the value. It also has an Airforce 3-9x40 scope and a case that comes with. I remember I paid around $600 for the rifle.

Yes. The other side is stamped also I'd bet.
That would be the Webley & Scott version produced for Beeman.
Around 2006 or so? The Guns were made in Turkey (Hatsan) and laser engraved.

Not sure where this was made, but the ones made in England are worth more than the Turks.

No!@ it says Santa Rosa,that was in the 1970s and '80s, No Turkey.............yet Also .25 would be worth more.
They are big hard to cock powerful springers. Looks in great condition,I think you would be lucky to get what you paid for it, just remember I know nothing

I used have a .25 Kodiak back in the day. It was a bit of a disappointment. It was a beautiful rifle, but a mediocre shooter.

Wow so I came to the right place. Thanks for all the info. I'll have a look at the other side in the daylight tomorrow. I guess it could be 2006, but I was pretty sure it was 2005-2005. I moved into a house in 2004 and was there for two years, and I thought I bought is in the first year.

It is definitely a beast, damn heavy.

Correct, this is the other side. Does that confirm that it?

Beeman wasn't in Santa Rosa in the 70's. They moved from San Rafael to Santa Rosa
around 1988 if memory serves me correctly. Back in 1986 I drove to San Rafael to
pick up the newly released R10 Carbine.

I bought my first Beeman,a R-7 at the San Rafael shop at 47 Paul Dr,in 1981. West Germany made.

Wow! I had no idea he had already sold it way back then. It seemed like it stayed true to its roots right up into the early 2000s. Beeman might not have ever manufactured any rifles, but he definitely didn't trade in junk and having that Beeman name on the rifle had a prestige to it. The differences between a Beeman and an HW or a Webley may have been slight, but he usually did improve it in some minor way before putting his name on it. These days the name Beeman is only a selling point for a vintage rifle.

I'm just surprised because I never noticed any slip in the quality of their products until at least a decade later.

Was sold a couple of times, and the name was what they were after,I think the last buyer is in Shanghai, China, one of the biggest pellet gun makers in the world....
The fact many "buyers" are after the name more than the products as they will substitute their funky ones and use the well-known name for selling their inferior products.......of course that is not always true, that is why it is best to google and find the facts; As Jack said,": Just the Facts".
Think of the Turkish and Chinese-made air guns that are sold under the Diana name, which is under RWS, which is under some conglomerate.

My first Beeman was a C1 carbine in 1984. Ordered from magazine for $149. Didn't care for it that much.
I remember how small the show floor was in San Rafael. Did you ever go to the Airway Dr. Santa
Rosa store ? It was awesome.

I bought it online, and all I remember is it was a big website with a lot of air guns. Whatever site was big and easy to find at the time. Not sure that’s helpful.
