Got interested in adult pellet airguns in the late 70s remember this was "Life on Mars" time no good computers,no internet and everybody into EU yep no EU either airguns they were German or English made at that time. Dr Beeman would release his catalogs and most of us would drool over the R1 which I couldn't get the cash together to buy. I did buy a R10 and later the R9 in 4.5mm/.177. In later years I would play with Spanish and Chinese made springers. I really miss that era but airgun quality has improved over the years with the lower cost airguns. The Kodiak is a beast and well made and will admit I'm getting too old to cock that type of gun for a day of shooting. I'm sorry I sold my R10,R9, R7 and even that Webley C1. The Kodiak if an early model can be sold, but maybe...
