My Mako was done by AZ so no direct help but I have done my Huntsman of the same vintage. Pretty simple. They are about as basic as it gets.

AZ does great work, that's a fact. I had him do my HW100/ FX STB/ Dr. BOB'S conversion. I did the conversion, the HW100 looks like a Rapid now. Reg set at 145 bar, I get 75 shots at 31.5 flbs. AZ installed the FX STB 5 years ago, insanely accurate, ground squirrel killer.

I'll give it a go, can't be that hard.

Thanks for the incouragement.

I rebuilt mine a few years ago and if I recall correctly, the only problem I encountered was getting to the large slotted screw at the far end of the interior of the air reservoir. Again, if my memory serves me as it should, the screw required an abnormally thick driver to fit into the slot correctly. In other words, don’t expect to get in there with a long Craftsman screwdriver to get the job done.

You should be able to figure something out with a little bit of American ingenuity.

One thing to keep in mind is that that one screw doesn’t have to be super tight.

Other than that, it’s pretty simple.
