Beeman P-17 Somewhat Unconventional Pellet Testing

But it's a copy of a $300 gun, so worth it for the better optics.
I didn't know that the P17 was copied from a powder burner, or did you mean the HW40?
I just thought that if someone went for the cheap Chinese P17, rather than the expensive German made HW 40, that they would likley be going cheap on the optic as well.
The setup I showed would put a great shooting pistol with a red dot, in someones hand for about $80. 👍

28 yards that's some good shooting there 🎯 (y)
Thanks
That lil pistol makes it easy. When I started shooting the red dot I sighted it for a hit at 12: oclock on the dot, which allows precision aiming at small targets. I can almost hold it dead still, but you can still miss, if you dont pay attention to a good release. That's how I teach my grandkids BTW, not to think about pulling the trigger, but more like releasing an arrow.
Another thing I have to mind, is parallax, there is some with my red dot. My RD has grooves that I line up on, like a front sight with the red dot being the rear sight.
