The other day I tore it apart and cleaned the lube off of it, put a Vortek piston seal on it and relubed with Krytox 205. Leaving the rest of the Maccari parts in. After 250 pellets I shot 25 JSB 7.33gr pellet over my chrono.

I didn’t expect this much of a change in velocity , it really surprised me. That’s a 83fps gain. Has anyone else seen that by switching piston seals and lube?

I thought I did a good job of fitting the ARH seal but I’m doubting myself now . After shooting it today I’ve got right at a tin through it. I’ll put another couple hundred through it in the coming days and see where it levels out at. Winds died down quite a bit this evening so I went out and put a few more rounds through it. Got a good zero then took it out to 66yds on my prairie dog. Wind was ever so slight from my left but only needs .2 mils for wind and held 5.5 mils for elevation.

Those are three different groups using the Falcon 7.33. Was feeling cocky and shot the group up on the head. I had 3 misses on it. I’m thinking this little R7 is gonna shoot good in light winds.
