Beeman S-1 question

Did anyone every figure out what the Beeman S1 equivalent model really is? Even looking through the latest Bluebook of Airguns, I don't see anything that resembles a Gamo, Norica, or Cometa model. Searches come up empty on this one! The one I have is a very nice specimen, a great shooter, and very accurate! Any information would be much appreciated!....Jeff

Eureka! Well I'll be jiggered! Thanks, KWK, for that great information! There is no mention of the Norica Jet in the latest BlueBook of Airguns but it is listed under Marksman as the 45 model. I see pics of the Norica Jet and the Marksman 45 on an Internet search but would have never known to look for that. I ruled out that this was any kind of Gamo 😉

As you implied, and having many higher-end Walther, Air Arms, Diana, and HW springers (and having shot many budget rifles of various makes), I was shocked at how this rifle performed, the decent power it had, not overly pellet-picky, no real twang or buzz, and above all the accuracy for a budget rifle. Definitely a fun gun to shoot and not a pellet waster like so many other budget rifles.

Thanks bunches and happy shooting!
