Been way too long

Tore my shoulder up last October and the MRI didn’t look good. So had surgery first week of December and it ended being a tear in my bicep tendon, tear in my labrum and a spot on the rotator cuff that needed cleaned up. Today was the first time I’ve shot a springer since sometime in October and man did it feel good. Got my R7 out and shot this at 13yds. I definitely am going to put the scope back on it because shooting irons there’s too many fuzzy things lol.

Did you need "air gun detox" at any point in the 5 months ? Maybe the pain killers took care of that ? 😉

Glad to hear everything has worked out , welcome back , good shooting
Thanks it definitely felt good, won’t be going overboard on shooting the springers for a bit but I think my shoulder can handle it now and then. Just gotta keep up with my stretches and strengthening my shoulder.

Had the same problem 3 years ago. Surgeon looked at the mri pics, turned and says, looks like you hit a homerun, then explained what he meant.
Complete tears of bicep, tendon, ligament, cartilege and he was going to have to shave burrs off both sides of my collar bone that were putting pressure on nerves in my shoulder. I got 5 new scars from reattaching it all, 2 months in a sling and 8 months before I could even consider trying to shoot anything. Total recovery was a touch over a year and I still have some problems with it.
My R7 .20 was my saving grace being the only rifle I owned I could do everything one armed with.
Welcome back from someone who definitely knows your pain...lol.

yes at least once a week for a year or two , keep doing those stretches' with the rubber straps , that's what i did and still do . IT prevents scar tissue from forming .
