I have a couple of Leupold 2x7 rifleman scopes with 60' yard fixed parallax. It's pretty clear at closer distances and super light good glass. I have them on. 22 rimfires but might try it on a pcp . The Taipan compact might be a good candidate. I found them on a great sale , I think under 150 bucks.

fixed power UGT is a good scope and not a lot of money, yes there are better but these work fine .

Wide , clear, mildot , cheap.. i like it better then my athlons , just definitely not springer rated . Ashame..

A year into the hobby I stumbled upon Vector Veyron scopes, blew the doors off my other $150-250 scopes so much I've now got four. Clear glass, super subcompact size and smooth functioning make these a winner. Member Classifieds had someone selling a bunch of scopes, a Vector Veyron 4-12 was listed @$110. WM

The new Vector Veyrons are really nice. I bought a couple of the 2-8x32 IR for my Leshiy’s and like them a lot. Parallax free to 100 yards. Nice illuminated reticle. Well within your price range. Worth a look.

I recommend the Vector Veyron also. I got one in trade & was pleasantly surprised at the clarity of glass & crisp turrets. Discovery scopes are also in that same category of quality way above their price point. Been using one for 3 or 4 years now & it's been great.

50y max? If she has good vision with no astigmatism and doesn't wear glasses, get a 2 moa dot sight. They are much more fun to shoot with and fast.

Shambozzie, I agree! Fixed power SWFA SS scopes are what I use too. I just got the 16x with the $100 of extras deal for $230 delivered, best deal in optics to me. OP, If your lady doesn't mind a fixed power scope, it's good.
