Hey all, new to the forum and fairly new to air guns. Aside from the ton of cheap pistols and rifles I have owned over the years, I figured I would step it up a bit with a Zelos. It has been a fantastic gun with no issues until I decided to add an edgun Behemoth moderator. It is clipping so badly (over 7" any direction) which I feel is mostly due to the poor design of the barrel shroud being the mounting point for the moderator. I have tried adjusting set screws on the shroud to change angles, put a tighter O ring on the barrel support plug(or whatever it is called) and even bought a second moderator to verify it wasn't the issue. The gun is mostly stock in the .22 flavor, but I will note that the barrel shroud was loose when I bought it. It now hits every baffle on its way out and has destroyed any hope of hitting a target at 10 yards, never mind 100. Anyone got any ideas with this issue?

If your mod is a .22 you need to go up to a .25
Otherwise see if you can find or make an insert to center the shroud over the barrel.

Add set screws to the end caps and have them go through the shroud sides so it holds the shroud and end caps tight together. Get the 3D printed inserts for the empty shroud space so it stops the harmonic whip of the shroud during firing. If that doesn't work, then upsize the moderator by one caliber.

I thought @Tango Sierra was doing away from baffles/mods to do mags while you made the baffles/inserts

Thanks for all the advise! I think I may try the set screws option as it gives it adjustability. I have already changed out the O ring at the end of the actual barrel to a slightly thicker one to stiffen its position to no avail. Another option is to drill out the existing .22 to a 25 since they already have damage to each module that I can separate and drill easily with the Behemoth.
