It was a chilly morning with some pretty unstable winds not really making up their minds which way they wanted to blow. It was a day you really needed to know how to read the winds.

Jim Ziegler was using a USFT in .177 and using a 10x40 scope but I forgot the brand


Jim Rabb was using a Marauder in .177


Roger Lovitt was using a USFT in .177and a nightforce scope


Here we have LD and one of his custom creations based from a USFT rifle


Matt Saenz was using a USFT in .177 and a Leupold scope


Mike Manabe was using a RAW HM 1000X in .22 with a Hawke scope



The competition was very tight with a single point separating 1st and 2nd

It was a great day of fun at the ranch. We will be metting again the 3rd Sunday of January

Nice pics and very good shooting Mike. Switch back winds are the hardest to shoot in, do you wait or do you shoot for that condition, fire that moment or wait for it to come back and not run out of time.

Yes I know....saving up for a really good Randolph Machine rest...until then, my bags will do just fine

when you order your Randolph get the Mark II top
my Mark I top has sat unused ever since i got the MK 2
it may look funny but it is VERY functional
