I just received a 90 cu. in. Benjamin tank. It took about 45 minutes to fill it from 0 to 4500 psi with my GX CS4 compressor. What do most of you use for a carrying case/bag for these tanks?
@BassMan What’s your application? Are you hunting with your buddy bottle or target shooting? There was a post a while back of some members pesting at a dairy shooting pigeons and I think one of them had a buddy bottle in some sort of satchel.I just received a 90 cu. in. Benjamin tank. Mainly just target shooting.@BassMan What’s your application? Are you hunting with your buddy bottle or target shooting? There was a post a while back of some members pesting at a dairy shooting pigeons and I think one of them had a buddy bottle in some sort of satchel.
Mine came with a cheapo backpack, but it fits into compartments on larger hunting packs and drag bag styled packs. Adding a little cushioning is my only real concern because of the shape of the valve and the way that the fill whip comes off of it.
@BassMan I’m thinking that a regular range bag may be suitable. Due to the compact size of the buddy bottle. The priority would be padding all around the bottle and valve though. That is something you can do with towels and bubble wrap or foam wrap. A small Savior Equipment bag should work too. For target work I’d want an adequate amount of pockets. I haven’t looked for dedicated bag for the buddy bottles.Mainly just target shooting.
