Benjamin Akela (Barrel band? Maybe.)

I recently purchased the “Benjamin Akela” and I’m not a fan of the “floating barrel” system. I look online to buy a barrel band to secure my barrel to the fill tank... All I could find was 3D printed plastic bands, that came with warnings not to over stretch them, for fear of breaking them. Bulky looking and little expensive. (If you ask me)... so then I noticed people taping the barrel to keep it snug to the “tank”. This looked ugly and unprofessional for a $800.00 set-up... I think I have a solution... SILICONE WEDDING BAND. I had one and it looks great... The size I had was 11 but I’m going to order a 10 and see how it fits... Let me know what you think....

imo a floating barrel really isnt as big of a deal as people make it out to be, its supported by the shroud .. people arnt 'so smart' that they figured it all out and caught something the engineer that desigened it missed lol .. only valid consideration is field use where it might be getting knocked around and you just need more structual support to prevent knocking it out of zero .... and also, ive seen some plain damaged barrel/shrouds that have been bent out of alignment .. happens ..
