I have 12 different spring options to test but hopefully over the next couple of weeks I'll have these worked out.

Do you have the guns in your possession yet? I’m skeptical to buy the akela until I see some decent feedback from it. It’s totally what I. Looking for, and price point is awesome, but it’s still so new!

What the hell is with the 97" barrel ?
You start to build a Bullpup, then install an off the shelf extra long barrel.
I'd be seriously interested if they would have stayed within the "bullpup" (short, close combat) parameters.
I shortened the shroud on my Daystate Renegade fairly easily, because of the barrel length and the silencer makup. But from what I understand, the Akela's barrel ends about where I'd want the shroud to end. So that means no silencer guts, which isn't a good idea. Seems like a fairly nice package otherwise.

It’s not a true bull pup. More of a semi bull pup. Lots of manufacturers going this route so they can get the cocking arm further forward, and trigger linkages aren’t needed as much.
