Tuning Benjamin Cayden Manual

I'm looking at you Benjamin.... Why do you send out an air rifle with spare O rings, Bursting disk, and nothing in the manual about what it is, or more importantly how you replace them?

I've looked on Line and could not find any info on how to replace any of these parts.

I'm thinking I'm going to degas the gun and take it apart and look for my self....

Consider yourself lucky, my FX Wildcat MK3 came with an almost worthless Wildcat MK2 manual and my new Yong Heng compressor arrived with NO MANUAL, at all. Thank goodness for the support of AGN members.

i dunno, id like to have a detailed manual to, but i imagine its because pcps are a pretty advanced item, and fairly straightforward as far as comprehensive design so im sure its assumed most people have a basic understanding .. theres a tank a valve and a hammer lol ... get your tools out and see where the orings are ... id say the number 1 rule to remember if your new to breaking them down is not to overtighten sht .. that goes for alot of things other than airguns to .. i just cant beleive the number of things ive seen fcked up by cletus and is his giant wrenches and loctite .. less is better usually .. remember that and everything will work out ..

I don't know about a service manual, but if you call Crosman customer service they will email you a parts diagram and parts list. I don't have it handy but here's what I have on this laptop:

Thanks Strech, that's what I'm talking about. I will email them. And yes, I agree, over tightening has F'd up more guns then anything else.

Well, they send me the schematic but no parts list, Told me they don't have one in English yet. Good follow up to my email.

I've been very impressed by Crosman so far. I was adjusting the trigger shoe on mine and the threads stripped. One phone call to their customer service and they sent me a replacement at no charge. I looked up the part number on the diagram, gave him the number and 3 days later it was in my mailbox.
