Benjamin Fortitude G2 177cal leak has started

Felt it was a matter of time before my 177cal was going to need an O-Ring replacement

Almost got a full year on the 177cal with zero problems until it wouldn't take any pressure beyond 1800 then drop to 1500 and hold

Felt it may have been my hand pump for it charged my 22cal with no problems

Feel I'll wait til tomorrow to ck pressure before I start soaping it

Uncertain why it wouldn't build up pressure beyond 1800 then hold at 1500

Guess I'll find out tomorrow when I start disassembly

Thanks for your input Odoyle

Yes 100% sure

Used it on my 22cal Fortitude filled just fine

For sake of argument did a fill with my scuba tank as relieved pressure down to 0 pressure first

Stopped at 2000 disconnected, only to watch the pressure drop to 1500

So, feel an O-Ring let go somewhere

If all goes well may tackle the tear down later today if not there's always tomorrow

Glad you entered your input

I always been one of diagnosing and or rebuilding air rifles problem child's

Take no offense on my findings.

pcp along with springers will eventually have some fault in their delivery to the projectile

First off I am very impressed with the fortitude G2 with it's improvements as being such a versatile pcp rifle

I would highly recommend this being the one for first time buyers list

Then pursuing their interests on the next purchase

Rather then continuing sunshine on this product have to give my evaluation

Pertaining not only to this G2 fortitude also to other mfg Co.

Seems boiling it down to the old cliche product is as good as it's weakest link

Pursuing a reason for these Two G2 fortitud pcp rifles have in common are O-Ring leakage

Further viewing inside the air tubes I find burrs that may have been caused during incorporating the air passages ports

Being an assembly line product can be overlooked

Guess my find shows assembly of this product under these conditions could cause O-Ring damage

Another possibility is the O-Ring quality ?

could this be a weak link ?

My past experience has to do with Automatic transmission hydraulic diagnosis and rebuilding

I know we are dealing with air here as there are similarities

Again not to discredit this production product i merrily had to give you a little input of my find
