Benjamin Fortitude Gen 2

I got the baker trigger installed and tuned, its 100000 times better than Crosman’s trigger. I don’t have a gauge but I’d say 1-2 lb trigger pull now. I also got a Hill hammer spring and I upped the power a little bit. Now my groups at 20 yards and 30 yards are well under .75” 20 yards is usually one hole now. This is with crappy Walmart pellets too. I’ll have to test to 50 yards to see if it holds groups still.

How much more power do you get with the new spring as compared to the factory ? I have a Gen 1 and want to pump up my power by about another 50 fps. Great gun but low on power !!!

I had to put my .02. If you order through crosman you can use the discount code. I got the gen2 for 224.99 plus shipping. I wanted a cheap rifle to throw around. The only mods are two 4/40 screws for the trigger, tweaked the sear spring a little, added memory foam to the buttstock and added a rail adapter to the front swivel mount. I thought the gamo urban was a really good budget rifle when it was 199.99, but the gen 2 fortitude is far better.
