Nice video, first hog taken with Benjamin NP2 I've seen. Any additional info on the Benjamin? I've a 2018 Benjamin Trail NP XL in .22, but they're not too popular around here. WM

Just a standard NP2 in .22 cal stock as it comes from factory not even trigger adjustments

In 2020, asked a fellow shooter for suggestions regarding an airgun to handle an armadillo problem. He sold me a 2018 Benjamin Trail NP XL .22 for $25. Claimed he hated it, too heavy, hard to cock and zero accuracy. After a good barrel cleaning, trigger modification, finding a preferred pellet (H&N Sniper Magnum 17.9 grain) and learning the "artillery hold," I ended up with a good shooter. I've taken racoons, crows and armadillos, all reacted the same as the hog in your video. I use my PCPs mostly now but it's nice to have the Benjamin, as my "survival" gun, if everything goes down the toilet. WM

I used to have a Trail NP XL .22 and I think it's a great gun, I traded it for a partial for a Henry .357 but that gun was good for sure, better then the NP2 in my opinion.
