If you're like me, you want to know what a gun will really do, as it doesn't alway match up with what the manufacturer says. I bought this gun last month just to see if I would get back into pcp's again. This is a great shooting gun and I doubt it can be beat at the price. This was at max power and the JSB 18.1's and 15.89's are dead on at 50. I accidentally threw away my last target but I will post it this week. Below is the shot string on max power. I had been shooting 4 mags at 50 with no problem.

Hope the REGULATED Gauntlet is at least as consistent! 

Have a 22 Kratos and 22 Akela haven't even chronied them yet but they shoot very very very well at 2/3 to 3/4 power with 18.1gr and 15.9gr JSBs and 14.3gr Crosman Pointed and CPHPs. 2/3 power for the light Crosmans.

This is at a very limited 40 yards.

Looks like I can crank it to the MAX FLO on the TP power adjuster - restrictor for the JSB 18.1gr thanks!

It is. I was going to turn it down on the JSB 15.89's since they were shooting 950 fps but the groups were really good, so I didn't mess with it. I need to order some Hades and see how well they do hunting this last month of Squirrel season. I may see when 900 fps does with them. I'm assuming the shot count should add a another mag worth of shots, but we shall see. The Gauntlet is very consistent, especially for the price. I'm tempted to buy a 25 version, but I think I'm going to buy a compact bullpup first.

I love my 25 Kratos, except for one thing, the ping is too loud and my sound box does not help. I only shoot at 10 yards and plus or minus 500 fpIt shoots as if it is regulated now, I do not like regulators, but I like them better than that ping.

Last night I ordered a Altaros regulator, the 24 fpe model. It will solve the ping. I will address the hammer bounce if It is bouncing, hard to tell through the ping. Being an external bottle regulator, it is far easier to adjust than one in a tube, and it changes the oem gauge to a regulated pressure gauge.

I am not after power, I am after a very quiet 10 yard shooter. The shot count I believe will exceed 200 shots per fill. The shot count will also help offset the price of the regulator due to less use of my Spark compressor. 

Hows that last sentence for self-enablelization?

I have a thread on GTA about it, Frank, our verminex, posted a link to a video where it is installed and the DIY manufacture of a sleeve made from 2 inch pvc pipe. Frank also regulated a Kral with great results. Not being able to post links you will need to hunt for it under the name Lani52.



And yes I will post pictures.
